Ward 2 needs Regan Sunshine Brussé. This young woman isn't a professional politician, she is a woman working to make the world in which she's raising her kids a better place. I only knew Regan a little before she decided to run for office, but I knew her well enough to know I wanted to volunteer to help out where I could. And through the campaign, I have been impressed with her persistence and her courage, her sense of humour, and her grace under pressure. Regan is a listener, a thinker, a problem solver and a doer. Regan's shown me that Ward 2 needs: • better library access • more community gardens • sidewalks cleared of snow in winter • to be a safer place for all its residents • with better street lighting • more crosswalks • safe injection sites • better recreational amenities. The people of ward 2 deserve a representative who will stand up for what's right and fight for what they need. Regan Sunshine Brussé will be that kind of City Councillor. The City of Kitchener will be fortunate to have her on its team.

Regan brings passion and energy to everything she does. Local government needs this...it needs someone who is unafraid to ask questions, who will represent constituents with their best interests in mind. I have known her for many years and recognize and value the importance she places on the trust people have in her. Voting for Regan will serve the people in Ward 2 extremely well .

I have known Regan for almost 20 years. She is a thoughtful person who is willing to learn and do anything to uphold her convictions. She is a great listener who drives to not just know about an issue, but who works to fully understand all sides of that issue. I think Regan Sunshine Brusse will be a dedicated public servant.

Regan is one of the most determined people I have ever known. Whatever she decides to pursue, she will do everything in her power to achieve. She is exactly the kind of person we need on city council, fighting for the impoverished, marginalized and voiceless in our communities!

Regan is determined.
Her experience gives her an unique perspective on the City Of Kitchener!
I know she would give 110% if she becomes your ward 2 councillor!

Regan is really very busy woman, yet she finds the time to contribute to the community. Her work-ethic and commitment to social justice are rock-solid, and it's clear that she would be a wonderful councilor. Do yourself a favour and vote for her!

Regan came to my aid when I first began to need senior support. She intuitively saw how to make my situation more functional. She was organized, capable, and most importantly had empathy.
Regan is a problem solver. I have seen her assess a need, choose a solution, and get to work; she gets the job done! With Regan, Kitchener Council will have a knowledgeable, committed, and enthusiastic worker on board.

Regan is a clear thinker with a strong connection to the real needs of real people. That's probably all you need to know to know that she'd be a great choice for this position. But beyond that, she has been exposed to a lot of different creative environments in her life, and I trust that she can funnel her own creativity into making Kitchener the best possible place for its residents to live and work. And I do mean everyone: her social justice commitments are real, and she knows how to listen.

I couldn't think of a better person to have in office representing Ward 2. Not only is Regan one of the most intelligent people I know, she is also one of the most selfless. Her ongoing community involvement, her academics, her personal history and experience are additional benefits she brings forth. She is a compassionate, empathetic, idea filled, brainstorming champion of solutions to everyday, real world challenges. Not only will she speak up for her community, she will be heard for her community!
I am definitely on TEAM SUNSHINE!

I met Regan when we were both in a women's IT Program. All through school I've been used to being the fastest person in a class. When I was done with a task in this IT course, I would look around to see everyone else still working except Regan. She would already be done and up helping another student at their desk. We became friends. I was so broke that I was ashamed to have her see inside my apartment. I think Regan sensed this. When the day finally came for her to see where I lived, I remember looking at the floor and her asking about what I had to eat. I struggled with a response, and she immediately gave me a long list of resources. She didn't just tell me about food resources, but places I could turn to if I couldn't handle my bills and where I could get really cheap clothes. I was new to the country and barely knew anyone. I felt isolated and ashamed. She never changed how she talked to me or treated me after that day. It was like my lack of money didn't matter to her at all. This happened years ago, almost a decade. Since then I have marveled at Regan's ability to repeatedly tackle new challenges in her personal and professional life, while also making the time to show people she genuinely cares about them. She gets it that people are not what they do or how much they make. She bothers to find out what resources are available in her area and to share those with others. I live in another country now and I know I can still send out a call to help and she will answer. And she's busier than ever! Regan is an inspiration to me. I went back to school recently to finally get my degree and I read her social media posts to stay motivated. I can only imagine the good she will be able to do with more responsibility. There is no one that would make a better public servant than someone who already serves the public everyday without expecting a title or accolades. That person is Regan. Regan has the heart, the drive, the integrity, and the compassion to help guide Kitchener into a brighter future.

Regan was the capable office manager for the joint Waterloo Region Greens campaigns during the 2015 federal election. She's a candidate who understands in her heart, soul, body, and mind what it's like to try to raise a family in an environmentally, economic, and socially unjust community.

I've known Regan since she was 12 years old. She's been through the struggles and inequities of our civilized world, and she's a survivor. Regan will champion and fight for the impoverished and decimated middle class, since she understands what it's like to fight against greed and selfishness. She's a fighter. She's not the elite or born of entitlements and political correctness. I strongly support her, and urge others to vote for a fresh voice, like hers, for change in the region.

Regan's commitment to making communities better places to live was clear in her work for the Waterloo Region Greens during the 2015 election. I have also witnessed her energy and commitment in her work with anti-poverty initiatives, as she is always willing to step in and do the work to move projects forward. Regan will work hard to support the needs of folks living in Ward 2, and her passion and advocacy skills will serve her well.

Regan Sunshine Brusse became my friend over 20 years ago...'in another century, and in another place.' She was young, bright and always willing to step up...even way back then. (And had lots of Personal Charm, too.) I am SO pleased -- and impressed --by the way she has actively pursued her own path. Kitchener will be very lucky to get her on board the city council. What you WANT is someone honest, smart, empathetic, well-spoken, hard-working, and just plain "Dog-Cussed Determined", right? Then you need to get out and vote Sunshine!
