My "Nickel"

I remain concerned with the decision to use solely security to staff the overnight washrooms. Though outreach staff may not have capacity to oversee these overnight services, and reasonably so given the current demand on these services, I think there remains room to consider alternate options that may be of more suitability to both the users needs and the situations that may come forth. I hope within this very progressive and collaborative solution, one already better showing of the collective heart of who we are, we will continue to look even further at alternate ways to oversee even more of these very necessary facilities. My deepest of gratitude goes out to The Working Centre for stepping in and assisting these people.

UPDATED: Clarification: Coun. Erb said staff can explore “additional supports.” Awaiting concrete answer on more washrooms. https://t.co/szbWqB4Agc
