Introduction

I am a mother to 3 children, 8-year-old twin boys and a 13 year old daughter, and a Conestoga College Business Administration Accounting Student, expecting to graduate in late 2019. I have a multitude of business, technical and accounting education and experience, in addition to a thorough personal knowledge of the challenges faced by the lower income members of the Kitchener community.
Previously self-employed working with Senior Citizens in their homes, I have a personal understanding of both the needs of the small business operator, and our aged community members. For many years I was also caregiver to my Oma. This has further assisted me to understand the needs seniors face as they age, the roadblocks they encounter, and at the end of the journey, the need for additional Hospice facilities within our community, with better funding and assistance provided for them.
